The Leonardo Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah, The Leonardo is a first-of-a-kind museum where you can explore the unexpected places and ways that science, technology, art, and creativity connect. The museum opened on October 8, 2011. The mission of the Leonardo Museum (named after the artist and scientist Leonardo da Vinci) is to fuse science, technology and art in experiences that inspire creativity and innovation in young people and adults. This program is aimed to attract those individuals, families and businesses who can help to create and build on Utah’s and the city’s brand as an innovation economy. The Leonardo hosted the Body Worlds 3 exhibition from September 19, 2008 through January 11, 2009. The museum is run by the board of directors and a small staff with the help of a large group of local resident volunteers.〔 ==References==
